The
Departments of Transportation (DOT) and Motor Carrier Safety regulations
require drivers and employers involved with the operation and maintenance of
commercial motor vehicles over 10,000 lbs. to comply with the Federal Motor
Carrier Safety Regulations. Sigma developed a web-based DOT driver
management application to help clients comply with the DOT requirements. The
application allows all of the workflow processes related to the driver
qualification to be automated and maintained in a single integrated program
including the medical, drug and alcohol, and violation review processes.
