Land Acquisition

Allegheny Transmission Line ; Sigma successfully purchased over 200 parcels of land for a 40-mile long, 138-kilovolt transmission line in the gas and coal areas of northwestern Pennsylvania. To meet the client’s schedule and other requirements for project financing, Sigma staffed a field office with land agents and managed all negotiations, surveys, and closings.

Independence Project ; Sigma purchased land and access easements for a 345-kilovolt transmission line and purchased hundreds of acres of environmental mitigation land necessary for the completion of a 1,000-megawatt gas-fired plant in upstate New York.
